Urgent Absentee Ballot Information
Dear Friends,
As we near Election Day it is important that every resident have the opportunity to vote, and we’ve just learned that the Bucks County Board of Elections has now made it even easier for those folks that need to vote by Absentee Ballot by creating an online PDF form that users can just fill out, print, and mail in.
Absentee Ballots must be mailed in by TOMORROW, Tuesday, Nov. 1st, so there’s still time for folks to get them in.
We kindly ask that you forward this email to anyone you know who will be out of town on Election Day, or who knows someone that will be away on Election Day, for example, college students, snow birds, or business travelers. Local residents can also use an Absentee Ballot if they are too ill to make it to the polls.
The Absentee Ballot can be accessed at http://www.buckscounty.org/government/departments/CommunityServices/BoardofElections/AbsenteeBallot.pdf Just fill it out…print…and mail.
As always, we thank you for your support, and everything you are doing to help us declare victory and make Newtown a better place.
Sincerely,
Newtown’s Team

Thomas Jefferson Club “We Read the Constitution” Rally
Dear Patriot,
I wanted to update you on our planning for the 2nd Annual “We Read the Constitution” Rally for Saturday, September 17th at 1pm. The event will again be held along the river at historic Washington Crossing State Park in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
We have a good group of volunteers and I thank everyone who has written in to help out. Events like this only occur because of the hard work and dedication of many.
I’m still out of town and Audrey Strein is managing things for us and doing a fantastic job! If you would like to volunteer in any way please contact Audrey at audreys110@yahoo.com . We are looking for folks to help with setup/breakdown, act as greeters, parking/crowd control, table volunteers, readers, historical reenactors, etc. If you have a special skill or item to donate that you feel may enhance the program, let us know!
We will have an event flyer uploaded to the website soon. In the meantime, please spread the work to all your friends, family, school groups, Boy/Girl Scouts, civic and church organizations, etc… Join us on Saturday, September 17th at Washington Crossing Park as WE READ THE CONSTITUTION!
All the best,
Jeff McGeary
President, Thomas Jefferson Club
Rally to Support the family of local fallen soldier
Here is a time right around the corner you can rally to support the family of fallen soldier Sgt. Kenneth Elwell to be able to lay their son, brother, grandson etc. to rest in peace and solemness without having the Westboro Baptist church disrupting it. Westboro is busing protestors in from Kansas to protest and try to discredit our soldiers and families at funerals.
Audrey Strein has offered to be the main contact on Sunday. She will have American Flags for whoever needs one, but if you have one bring it. Email her if you are coming. We will meet up at St. Andrews Church, just look for the American Flags and you will find us.
Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at
St. Andrews Catholic Church
81 Swamp Road, Newtown Township, PA
